cisco 3000

You should already be able to flash this modem with the bcusb , as it will use the same connections as this
Code:
http://www.usbjtag.com/jtagnt/modem/dpc3000.php
, the only difference will be is that your ISP point will connect on VCC on BCUSB , there is no script for this as yet , but should be easy enough to make.

Do you get a detection with the bcusb ? give me a few days and i will make you a test script , i am working away so time is limited.

I will also continue the tutorial on making your own scripts soon , hopefully this will make it easier for some.

I have also spoken to the developer and he may in the near future make another application for easy script generation .

Have just started working on this script , it is quite big as i am following the sequance used by NT software , it may take a day or 2 as i have to juggle this between work , but i have the basics loaded.

cant wait to get it, i love the blc unit it is my first and only

Try this , note this is a test script , so make sure you have a full working backup before you proceed. Extract both the script and the jpeg to your scripts folder , and then connect.

Let me know if you can read/save/write to all sectors without any errors.

Slight ammendment to the script itself , I inadvertently added a read command on the write command for the UBFI1 and UBFI2 sectors. I have rectified this now , please try this script

Iwas able to read the boot but it only says flash dont know if that matters and i had the write option but i had nothing to write so i would say its a go, think i should be able to flash it with the 3000 flash but i was told i cant since this is broadcom is that right?if you need any reading from this that you think would help just let me know ok bro, the script works fine

Were you able to read the boot, cfg, firm ,firm1 and log and then write them back ?
You will not be able to load flash from a dpc3000 if it does not have the same CPU as the 3212.
