SB5101 flash not detected

Ok think i see the problem that diagram of the 5101 pinouts is incorrect ....
On the modem

pin 1 = TRST goes to pin 1 fcusb
pin 3 = TDI goes to pin 3 fcusb
pin 5 = TDO goes to pin 5 fcusb
pin 7 = TMS goes to pin 7 fcusb
pin 9 = TCK goes to pin 2 fcusb

then connect GND pin 10 on fcusb

So in your post #5 follow the number sequence with these to connect to your FCUSB board

I did make a script a very long time ago to do this , but that is now out of date and would need updating to accomodate the new jtag settings , will see if i can find and update it for you.

Okay. But is there a step by step instructions on how to do it?
Now I have CFI flash and Broadcom BCM3349 tabs in fcusb.

Once you have the proper script then it will be straight forward as there will be a hax tab to write to the device.

Negative , most of those scripts wont work , and i have not updated them ,, i have done a prelim script for you but it is untested , so i ask that you first make a few backups of your original flash before trying this script.

Okay. Here is what I do. I go to "Script" tab then select "Load Script" and load the script above. It looks like it loaded and under Active Script the name shows up. But when I hit "detect device" it gave me and error like before Error connecting to target board

It should not do that ,, basically when you start the software it should detect and then auto load the existing BCM3349 script , and then when you change the script you should not have to detect again .

Okay so it was my fault then since I hit detect. So when I start the software it loads BCM3349 script. Now I load your script and I have these tabs "Status" "Console" and "Memory" and under active scripts it says SB5101

No. Also if I go under the Script tab it don't list the SB5101 as current script. Only under the status tab. Don't know if this is important or not.

Check your connection to the modem then , does it start normally without this script ie. is the flash detected as it was yesterday ?

Something funky is going on. Sometimes the software detects my modem board sometime don't I have to hit F1 button couple times to refresh and so it will detect it.

I have to tell you one thing. Last night I try to mess with it a little. So what I did is backup the Memory file , CFI flash file , Bootloader file and firmware file. Then I play with it a little. Now I upload all the backup files from last night.

Everything is fine after that but still after I upload your script the SB5101 tab won't show. And it says " Loaded script SB5101 successfully"
