Flash memory detected but not found in flash library (pictures included)

I'm at a loss here. I've searched on this forum for a couple hours now and no solution has worked. I've tried switching to 5v, reinstalling, fresh install on another computer and nothing seems to work. I just got the flashcart in to do some projects. Pics included any help would be welcomed and let me know if you need any other pictures. I can get them uploaded quick.

Attached is the message, the logs&message, the chip type and how it looks connected.

The pins on your adapter look as if there are set to 28f instead of 29f

Note the pins by the socket as they are set in the pic the are for 29f

It was at 28f, but it's still the same message when switched to 29f. Disconnected to switch.

Yeah I have. I've reseated the chip multiple times now. Even reseated the adapter itself. I have 4 of these chips and I get the same message on all of them.

I figured it out. I have a NOR X16 adapter and need the NOR X8 adapter instead for my chip. Slight oversight on my end. Thank you and Pantheon for trying to help! I really appreciate it!
