Hello Everybody,
I bought BCUSB a few days ago via Ebay.

My problem :
BlackcatUSB doesn't connect to device.
I have a sb6120 and It has Spansion FL064AIF flash. I am using build 275 and 280 software.
Cable works. I tested it.
I tried table 9.4 in this datasheet.
I am using this guide.
Can you help me, please?

When you connect the Pogo pin to R362 with the clip connected do the led's of the modem come on or do they stay off ? If they are off the your ISP connection is ok , and the software should then detect the flash .

First of all,
- Power socket of SB6120 is disconnected.
- BCUSB is 3.3v
Right?

You need power goint to the SB6120 as you are not powering the device through BCUSB.
BCUSB works on the SB6120 with either 3.3v or 5v.

Ok. When i attached power socket of modem, flash is detected.
But, SB6120.bcs doesn't run.

Loading script: SB6120.bcs
Error loading: Can not process a If statement inside a If statement
No scripts to run

Seems as if there is a problem with the script , have you altered the script at all ??
Also you can load the VMG300 script it has the exact same layout as the SB6120 , just the SB6120 script has less options.

Very Strange , i have not encountered this before , I am assuming you get the exact same error output as you do loading the SB6120 script ?

Same, VMG300 script doesn't run.
And sb6120 was brick.
192.168.100.1 doesn't run.
Power & online leds are yellow,
Receive & send leds are blue,
Link led is purple.
What must i do?

Was the SB6120 bricked before you connected to BCUSB ?
Did you make a backup of your original flash before you tried to flash anything ?
Have you got the script function working now ?

To me the issue you have is a bad flash so depending on what you flashed and where, so you will need to reflash the device to get it working again

Sorry for my english.

No, after.
Unfortunately, no backup.
No, script function doesn't run but BCUSB detects flash still .

I used BCUSB while script function doesn't run. I reflashed but it isn't working. All leds are same.

What did you try to flash to the modem , was it a firmware or a full dump ?

1. forceWare_UBFI-v1.1r12-BETA2.bin
2. forceWare_UBFI-v1.1r11.bin (reflash)
3. SB612X-1.0.3.3-SCM00-NOSH.NNDMN.p7 (reflash)
4. SB612X-1.0.3.3-SCM00-NOSH.NNDMN.p7 (reflash)

All flash were firmware.

Now i presume you loaded this firmware in the full flash hence the reason why it is bricked , as you have overwritten the boot file. You will need to find a full flash to recover this device.

No i dont have one of those dumps , your best bet is to google or look on cable modem hacking sites .

Yes you can flash a full dump without using the script function , we are still trying to figure out why you cant load scripts as no one has ever reported an issue like this.

Hello, I found full flash v1.0.1.7. It's working. It's older than first flash v.1.0.1.8.
But, script function isn't working yet. What could be the reason?

I take it you have all the neccessary updates on your pc , net framework etc ? Once we know what you have installed we can see if you are missing anything .
