Hello. I acquired ANOTHER sb5100 after 5 years of not fiddling with the first one i purchased from sbhacker.net . It is still running strong to this day. An sb5100 was given to me, and I attempted to 'read all' from the hacktivated modem in attempt to make a clone of it using the new sb5100. While the writing of firmware was successful, afterward, the modem only briefly turns on, then all of the lights go out. I am assuming it is somewhat bricked. The thing is, the blackcat software still detects the modem and the flash. In attempt to reflash the modem, I am clicking on the 'flash' tab, then choosing 'write all' in hopes the software will allow me to select firmware. Instead, I look at the bottom and notice ' choosing binary or something'. When trying to 'read all' from the semi dead modem, it gets to 100 percent then it stops and doesn't go any further. How can I fix this? thanks By the way, I am not using a usb jtag, just the ordinary one that plugs into the parallel port.
