Blackcat usb recognized as "Generic USB hub"

Hi,

I got a blackcat USB with a board rev 1.7.
When I plugin the device, a red light is on and a blue light blinked 3-4 times.
I tried to install the driver (I'm on Windows 7 64bits) but it doesn't work.
It says "the driver is not compatible with your device".
I check the "Id of hardware" found in the device manager "USB\VID_AAAA&PID_CCCC&REV_0100
" and of course, it doesn't match the ID in the inf file.
The switches are in position "operational" (tried the other position but nothing changed).

I tried to launch the software, but it says "Blackhat USB status : Not connected"

I double checked with another computer running Windows 7 32bits.
Same problem.

Any advices welcome.

Regards,
Vincent

Was your bcusb device ever used for the ps3 hack ?

What you may need to do if it was is to download flip software and try to reprogram it using that. OR

Also try when you have bcusb connected to your pc place your dip switches to the program mode and then press the reset button on the bcusb board , this will put it into DFU mode and the drivers should then install , allowing you to use the software to program either the SPI or EJTAG firmware onto it , and then the drivers should install ok.
