I have a business modem from Comc@st. It has 4 or 5 wan ports. Wondering if it's possible to dump the firmware and write some code to interface with the settings. How difficult would it be? Is the source available for forcewear? Just putting the idea out there. Probably not even feasible.

Depending on the model number your modem may be compatible with Bitware, the process for dumping these modems is a bit more complicated requiring soldering... You could use the FCUSB with some 3rd party nand clips/adapters/tools but this dump will be encrypted.
