Hello, I being trying to copy a flashed MT29F1G08ABAE that I read to a blank MT29F1G08ABAE and it says 100% matched but when I install the new flashed chip to the board it doesn't turn on but if I install the original one it turn on, what am I doing wrong? I am using a FlashcatUSB xPort PCB1.1 with a TSOP48 (Type B).

Thanks in Avance For Your Help.

Please describe your process in complete.

Also, please upgrade to the CURRENT version of the software/firmware for your device. This is Build 532.

I remove the tsop48 from the Arris modem board then I put it in the tsop-48 (type-B) socket and open the FlashcatUSB
and it show that I have Memory Device 1: Micron MT29F1G08ABAEA (134,217.728) then I go to NAND Flash and press Read
then I have the Base address 0x0 and 134217728 Length I press ok and saved then I change the chip for a blank one and
press program and open the bin i just read and saved then it ask me Base address 0x0 length 134217728 I press ok
and it start flashing.

I believe the original chip is locked because i tried to erase it but when I check it still says that there are some
blocks that I not erased.

Tonight I am going to try with Build 532.

Thanks for all your helps.

Just updated to Build 533. Includes some fixes for NAND devices, block manager, and Create/Write Image feature.

Also from reading your procedure, this is wrong, as you you created a copy of the main data, but not the oob data (which will contain block information, ecc. etc.). You should use the Image Create feature to make a 100% copy of the device.

How can I do this? Thank you.
