I will see what i can do. I see the layout of this device is similar to the SBV6220 , now i never wrote that script so i am unsure of it's functionality , but i will re-write a new script for this specific device

Try this and let me know if it works ok. (Make sure you have a working backup before you try !!)

got and i try it but it seems i am not doing some thing right, should i be flashing to both fw and fw1 i am trying to flash sb alpha on the device and thanks for the script that was quick

You should normally only need to write to 1 firmware bank to load your firmware , a lot depends on the device , is it a Puma5 cpu ?

Well as you have a full backup of the modem just load a copy of the firmware each to FW & FW1

yep it works like that both fw needs to be flash so what can you do now can you make one button for both fw thanks alot bro

Well technically you should only need to have it on 1 bank , it all depends what bank is set to boot first. As it is 1 image you have no choice but to load it seperately , it is not like a haxorware firmware that is large and therefore requires to be spilt onto the 2nd bank.

Correct , what you can do is load original firmware onto the device , and then try load the modified firmware onto either bank1 or 2 and see if it boots with that .

just notice one thing bro, i got to flash one arris once and not again i tryed a few times but no go, i try to get it back to stock no go but when i us my friend nt to do it it goes no problem, so maybe it as something to do with blct, and i even try it again after i fix them with the nt and it wont go but i am a black cat fan so i just hope you guys can get me up and running thanks alot

I am trying to get the developer to add an erase function that can implemented in the script , this should hopefully resolve a lot of the problems and mismatch errors.

i think thats a start cause i can try a few times and the same fw sit on it just the same, ill wait till you throw that my way thanks alot bro

Still waiting on the developer getting back to me ,,, but you can try a console command to erase the whole flash and see if you can then update from that.

Memory.EraseBulk

i think i mighty have a problem other than the erasing i just look now my wire is a bit long its over 18 inches long, now could that be a problem?

It could well be , on ejtag that would be acceptable , but on SPI you need to have your wiring as short as possable about 5-6 inches is about the max that i would go for.

the only thing is thats how i have been using it all along but ill try it shorter and let you know what gives thanks bro
