Netgear CG814CCR v2

Try this set it back to default script and see if your full flash loads or if you get errors ?

Right i will have a word with the developer and see if he has any insight to this , Watch this space. I take it you only have a bcusb programmer ? do you possess any other flash programmer such as a usbjtag NT , If so we may be able to bring your device back to life until we find a resolution to this issue

Hmm interesting , on your NT do you have the correct xml for this modem ,as i was not aware of there being 1 for it , could you do me a favour and take a full dump from both NT and BC and upload them here (uploads should be fixed now ) just so i can see if there is an issue in the reads

Just read a post on the usbjtag forums ,seems they have issues writing to this modem same as you , so i wonder if there is something special on this flash not allowing an ejtag write , i see it is normally flashed via TTL for what people want loaded . Is this how you originally flashed the modem ?

I have flashed it a bunch of times with the NT

The memory map is backwards to the 5101

I sent you the Flash map from Hax

If you get a good one

you can Flash these Serial with HAX

It has a Noisy Bootloader

I need to be able to do both...

It wont flash back on serial

Thats wht I need the Jtag to work

I can send my .xml for NT

It works

but it needs work

You have to use erase

then sprogram...

I assume it still detects ok in both NT and BC ?
With your NT xml have you tried to load say just the boot sector or does it fail on loading on all tabs .
It is very strange that Image2 is first then the boot in the middle , this does not seem right to me

Tell me when you flashed it all those times with NT did you just use the full flash option ? as when i load your xml and then load the full dump you sent me yesterday , it just does not add up to the tabs in the xml

I always flashed the full 8 Mb

The tabs

didnt work right....

except Boot

CGs are funny...

The xml is still a work in progress

The Memory Map is from a workig HAX

If its a 64MBit chip

It says 32Mb in serial

Shouldn't it be 2 16Mb Dumps???

No a 64Mb chip is = 8MB and 32Mb is = 4MB , it seems your dump is only using the first 4MB of the flash for the firmware but your dump will be 8MB.

I loaded your dump into NT soft using your xml and on the boot tab it shows all 0's so i cant see how the boot loaded ok , i will need to look into this some more , it is difficult when i do not have the device , i will see if i can find one on ebay

Try this (advice from the developer)

Add this to the script
SetParam(1,500)
SetParam(2,500)
SetParam(3,500)

Remove the others and then try to write just the firmware image again please.

OK

I think that worked

I wrote the HAX Diag amd rebooted ok

Still lots of errors in the console...

Is that normal??
