Hello,

Recently I got an FCUSB xPort and a TSOP 48 adapter for NAND and NOR devices.

NOR devices are running Ok but for NAND, xPort recognize device but can't read it (just appears 00 on Flash Tab).

I tried others NAND devices manufcatures (Zentel, Toshiba, ESMT, Spansion) and they working same way.
And when I re-initialize (F1 button), xPort stuck and I need reset it.

Can someone help me?

Hi to all in the Forum, I also have the same problem with the xport and nand adapter. This is my console mesage, I have no idea if this is a problem with this memory or the Flashcat. Thanks with any help.

Ok, looks nobody going to answer, time to look for another kind of programmer, spend money on this blackcat for nothing and no support from them.

Hi jack200,

You need go on "Protocol Settings", and on NAND tab, select Separate or Segmented on Main/spare area layout field.
After this, the field above (Bad block manager) can be selected enabled.

So that message on console tab disappears.

Thanks for the help, but I have the same problem like you have. Under NAND X8 Flash, I have all 0, I'm trying with other Flash Chip and the same result. Also I need to reset the programmer every time I redetect. Do you ever find a solution for that? Thanks

I have exactly the same problem, all 0s on any Flash Chips I've tested. But I did'nt find a solution yet.

Ok, after many tried I decided to buy a decent programmer with many adapters and stop trying with this one. Even with the new software release I had the same result. NOT recommended.
