sb4200 sb5100 bronx manhatan nyc problems

hi all,i reallyyy need help,i dont know whats going,my sb4200 n sb5100 suddendly only work in my house,when i connected in my friends house 10 blocks from here i get the optimum page,im in the bronx,so the modems work in some areas,this started like 2 weeks ago,all lights are on and macs are good,in manhatan my friends having same problems where they work in some areas only,any help please pm me,i believe optimum and time warner are updating something,thanks
