It is actually a problem in the software , i am trying to find a new coder at the present time to resolve this issue.
I found with the 900 i have that if i write the original flash back to the device it programs ok , but the minute i try to flash something different it mismatches.
I am going to try and delete the flash and see if it will program ok that way with no other data present. This is just until i can get someone to look at the code.
i wanted to install a fresh virgin flash to one of this i own.. it was working excepts by mistake i ran some telnet commands which disabled completely access to telnet... i downloaded a couple of backup which were made by jtagnt... also there is a flash which has telnet enabled that has 4 MB i tried to flash that... and all i got is a bricked modem.
tried also some of the jtagnt that has firm, cfg and bootloader.. nothing.. those backup don't have a flash of 8 MB neither memory of 8 MB. the memory size those backup has is a 16 MB bin
i made a backup before playing with that.. and it's useless, also made a backup of firm1 and 2 i recovered both modem still dead.. 3 light for some seconds and all off. i believe i still have hope of recovering this.. there are some commands to use with old black cat and tom's jtag utility.. but never detect my flash.
any ideas ?? do you have a good working backup of 8 MB size?
i tried the script because was posted in general area.. i thought it was completlely working for general use.. but i gues is not...
it's failing to write correctly since all data verification always return failed.
i'm glad you're trying to fix this issue, my only hope is blackcat usb by now.. y tried with classic blackcat to debrick it and didn't detect the device.
i was thinking to buy jtagnt but if recive good support with my old pcb 1.2 i would prefer to buy soon pcb 1.8 or newer
USBJTAGNT is by far the best device on the market , you can not go wrong by getting one of these.
My issue in getting FCUSB to work to a good standard is trying to find a coder that can help me with the code. That is why it is taking forever to get things sorted.
