XPORT 2.0 Cannot update firmware

When I run the current latest build with my XPORT connected I get the following message:

Software requires firmware version 5.14

However, there is no option to update the firmware in the software.

I have the top switch set to "FW", the bottom to 3v.

Any suggestions?

You have to press the reset button on the board to enter dfu mode to do the upgrade

Thank you for your reply,

If the reset button is the one behind the USB port, when I press it, nothing occurs.

With the hardware in Bootloader mode, each time the device is reset (by pressing the RESET button), FlashcatUSB will startup in bootloader mode. With the software running, the main screen will now show that the device is in bootloader mode (“Device Firmware Upgrade”) and that it is ready to be reprogrammed with AVR firmware.

To change AVR firmware, click 'Load File', select the firmware HEX file, click 'Program', and once complete, click the 'Start Application' button. After you have successfully changed firmware, we recommend that you set switch #2 to ON, to prevent the device from booting back into DFU mode.

I had checked the manuals before posting and followed the procedure there. However, when pressing the button, nothing is occurring, and the software is not presenting the upgrade option.

I have tried building several revisions back from source linked on the forums, but to no luck.

In this video, and similar I have found, pressing the reset button caused the LED indicator lights to cycle, however, this is not occurring on my board, regardless of the switch configuration (the proper one per manuals or arbitrary for testing purposes)

DIP switch could be faulty, maybe you can ship it to the developer for testing or RMA (or maybe you can test and confirm yourself, if you have a multi meter)

That is a good thought; I went and checked and I have continuity when I press the button.
