Can you try the latest software (Build326) and firmware (7.05) for me , so i can see if you still get the errors , as i can then report this to the developer as an issue.
hmm , we need to get the new firmware loaded as that may have a fix in it. I take it you have the old at90usb162 chip ? Are you able to load either the SPI or nand firmware or does it just stay on 7.02 when you try that ??
Seems to me your bcusb may be faulty , not saying a new one will resolve the issue , but as you cannot change the firmware it is hard to say where the problem lies.
Have you tried the atmel flip software itself to see if you can change it that way ?
Yep it seems there is an issue with the BCUSB . You could try to reflow the chip to see if that helps other than that there is not much more i can do to help you
Easiest way is to get a hot air gun and go over the solder points on the legs of the chip , check out some videos on YouTube for how it is done. This may or may not solve your problem , hard to tell with issues like these.
