help with xport and 42pin dip MX 29F1615

As per the title I have an XPORT and it won't recognise this chip.

I did look in the source code and it says "needs to be tested"

I have a chip that i know works and has data in it but its not detected either.

Any advice?

The datasheet it here if needed

does seem to require odd voltages to program but I thought it would read ok?

Many thanks

This is actually a very weird chip. It acts like an older 27C EPROM but uses a more modern programming sequence like a PARALLEL NOR Flash.

We actually already have a MX29F1615 in our lab and are planning to add support for it to the next software update.

Hey thanks for the reply! That's great news, saves me the trouble of trying to get it to work.

When I was reading over the datasheet I thought, this is an odd chip. If you need any testing etc just let me know, I have a few hundred of them here.
