I dont have nothin but pjtag, serial to ttl, and bc 1.7. Which can i use to use for 5120? And with serial to ttl, dosnt that depend on firmware version if the console is on?

You can use the BCUSB on the sb5120 , allthough the process will be very very slow , in order to use a TTL connection you would have to have a noisy bootloader on the device.

Since there is no real firmware with a GUI for this modem, I'm trying to figure out if there is anything like UJModem (usbjtag nt) for the blackcat? Sorry, I'm new to the blackcat, I hope this wasn't a dumb question.

No there is nothing like UJModem for BCUSB , a lot of similar features were removed in blackcatUSB due to legal reasons by the developer.

I doubt that will help. as the 5120 code was only added recently .
