OK so here is the deal.
I have a Blackcat USB 1.8
Blackcat 330 using it in SPI mode it detects my spansion chip.
When I try and put either the sb6120 or sb6120_SPI scripts in the bottoms say successful but the console table gives me an error something to the effect that the firmware is proper format.
*Originally I got this modem as a premod with Forceware. I messed up and set both the Downstream and Upstream channels from 4 down and 1 up to 8 and 8 (ds 8 and 8 us) then rebooted the modem. The modem rebooted the power light worked fine, then the LAN light would go blue then the online light would start blinking super fast and then nothing. I tried to log into the modem ie 192.168.100.1 and couldn't. I could still ping the modem just fine. So figuring I jacked the modem I bought a Blackcat USB and read and read and read... I soldered my wires to the IC chip carefully and the ISP pin and kept my wires short and all that jazz. I did by chance try to send the firmware.bin and a 8 MB dump I found online through the SPI flash at 0x0 and at 0x1 thinking this was how maybe the new software worked. Funny thing was is that it seemed to look like it was flashing that bin to somewhere... after disconnecting my stock modem power supply then the usb cord to usb blackcat then the blackcat ribbon I powered back up the modem... NOW the modem power and lan lights are barely on (super dim) and the online, receive, and send are ON bright and nothing can not log in, and now can NOT ping the modem either. ANY advise would be great I have tried just about everything but am willing to try again. my connections are clean, I am at work at the moment but can post pics later if needed. I followed the schematic and triple checked with a volt/ohm meter that the cable is correct and correct to the blackcat usb. I did read somewhere that the sb6120 script is not gonna take until the modem is stock, or unbricked again, but I can not figure out how to do that. PLEASE HELP THANKS
