Trying to flash my wrt54gs 7 could use help

I just need one ground connected right? The standard cable doesn't seem to connect up right.

Reset is not needed , the standard cable should be fine , once turned around

thanks for the quick reply. i've tried both ways. i'm using the 10 pins closest to the corner. so no nSrst and grd pin
here is a quick vid

In your video , the cable is connected the correct way. But there is not even a BCM detection , was the pin header in place or did you solder it on ?

I soldered it in. I checked all connections for with ohm meter. This is a bricked wrt.

BCUSB is not the best tool for debricking , but even if a device was bricked it should still see the BCM on the device. Try putting some force on the pin header , slightly pushing it at an angle to see if you can get a detection.

Pin header is in the correct spot , tell me when you power on the router do you get any LED's at all or is it completely dead ?
