You should already be able to flash this modem with the bcusb , as it will use the same connections as this
, the only difference will be is that your ISP point will connect on VCC on BCUSB , there is no script for this as yet , but should be easy enough to make.[/q was trying to make a script for the cisco but i failed badly can someone post it if the have it thanksCode:
thanks alot broDo you get a detection with the bcusb ? give me a few days and i will make you a test script , i am working away so time is limited.
I will also continue the tutorial on making your own scripts soon , hopefully this will make it easier for some.
I have also spoken to the developer and he may in the near future make another application for easy script generation .
thanks for you effort bro just in time for my boss to send me to boston for a month to work [sucks] but as soon as i get back it will be the first thing i do thanks a million broSlight ammendment to the script itself , I inadvertently added a read command on the write command for the UBFI1 and UBFI2 sectors. I have rectified this now , please try this script
whats up bro while i was away my friend fryed the 3000 dont have any more but i have the 3212, i was able to read the flash with blct so may i send you the read or can you build us a script for it, i have a few of them so i will have time to test these as soon as i can get a script thanks alot broNo problem , good luck in Boston , hopefully someone else will be able to help test this while you are away.
Iwas able to read the boot but it only says flash dont know if that matters and i had the write option but i had nothing to write so i would say its a go, think i should be able to flash it with the 3000 flash but i was told i cant since this is broadcom is that right?if you need any reading from this that you think would help just let me know ok bro, the script works fineTry this script out , once again add the script and the jpeg to the script folder.
yes i was able to read them all but didnt try writing them back but i will i a minute how will i know if its the same cpu, i am kinda new at this but willing to test test and more test thanks alot broWere you able to read the boot, cfg, firm ,firm1 and log and then write them back ?
You will not be able to load flash from a dpc3000 if it does not have the same CPU as the 3212.
