Hi

Can you right and app for this

I cant upload the 8mb dump file :(

your server won't let me..
 
Does your bcusb detect the flash on the device ? Are you looking for a script for this device or are you only intrested in getting it detected with bcusb as far as i am aware this device contains a Intel 28F640J3 TSOP which is supported with BC
 
The bcusb detects the flash fine

It is not a 5101

It is not a 5101 Memory Map

I changed the script to default

And, I can read and write the whole chip...

It sees it as the 8 MB :):)

Apologies for the upload issues , I am currently using a beta forum software so still in trials .. If you could upload the file to an offsite server like multiupload.com then i will be able to access it . It will take some time to compile a script as i do not possess one of these devices , so testing it out may be a little lengthy.

Its the same as the 5101 but its backwards..

the 5101 is Image 1, Boot, Image 2

The Netgear is Image 2, Boot, Image 1

I would be happy to let you remote into my PC :)
 
Right upload the file to a site where i can download it like rapishare /megaupload etc , and i will get started on a script after i analyse the dump structure , then we can start the process of testing a script for it , shouldn't need to remote into your pc .

Just starting with the basics of the script for now , and will add the relevant info in as soon as i have it setup.

 
Quick question , is this an un-modified dump ? as i am finding referances to SB5101 in it , so i am assuming you have tried to flash it with haxorware ? Do you have the original working full dump of this modem ?

Do you want me to make the script as above to just load a Haxorware firmware image ? or do you require it for loading original firmware , if it for the latter then i will require an original dump , if not then your dump will suffice. I am assuming your modem is working with the dump you sent me ?
 
Right i will first work on it loading Haxorware as i am pretty sure that is what it will be used for most , after that i will work on an original one.

Try this script , Make sure you have a working backup before you try this please.
Firstly add this into your Autorun.ini file 334917F:Netgear CG814CCR v2.bcs:Netgear CG814CCR v2 this will allow you to have the drop down menu to choose your script.

As you will see you have boot , firmware , cfg and a log tab on top . The Firmware X tab on the bottom is the 2nd image location i can see in the dump , but you will not need to mess with that one if my calculations are correct.

So try reading your boot , firmware ,cfg and logs , see if they save correctly as well , and if you have a working backup , try and write the files back.

What other info is in your autorun file . basically if you have at least 2 bcm3349 ID's a drop down menu should appear on the main window
