I can't load the script since it is .bcs extension. Do I just change it to .fcs?

Apologies ,, use the rc16.340 software and the script you have from previous rename to .bcs

So still shows as having original firmware on it , when you flashed the modem did it say new firmware installed or did you have any errors ?

It did said New firmware successfully installed

Hmm strange , it should of loaded it ,,, try flashing again but use the diag firmware this time

Did it again still the same. Also in FCUSB under original firmware it says Currently Installed: ecram_sto.bin. I will try the DIAG version now

After I installed the DIAG version I wasn't able to connect to modem at all.

Does the modem still boot in it's proper sequence ?

If I try to do it in DIAG then no. All the led are off.
